About Us
Travis Wiens
Travis was raised on a mixed farm between Weyburn and Estevan. He convocated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Degree.
Travis has been fortunate to work in several agronomy focused positions with progressive growers where he has learned not only about agronomy but also about the business of agriculture. He managed 2 ag retail outlets and was also a fertilizer buyer for a chain of 6 outlets. Travis is a professional agrologist carrying CCA and CAIB 1 designations.
Travis and his wife Corrine have lived in Milestone for 15 years. They have three children; Addison, Avery, and Jillian.
Chad Nicholas
Chad was raised on a mixed farm southwest of Milestone. He convocated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Degree.
Chad has worked in several marketing and management roles in the ag industry throughout Western Canada prior to partnering in Annex Agro in 2012. Chad brings a different skill set to the Annex Agro business having worked primarily in the livestock industry prior to 2012. He recently completed his Certified Crop Adviser designation and has been CAIB 1 certified for several years.
Chad and his wife Carrie live on the family farm at Milestone. They have three girls; Emma, Megan, and Kalla.
Megan Giofu
Megan was raised on a mixed grain and Purebred Charolais operation southwest of Moose Jaw, SK. She convocated from the U of S in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Degree as well as a Diploma in Agriculture Production through Olds College in 2012.
We’ve been fortunate to have Megan on our team since fall 2017. Her focus is on variable rate technology, fertility, crop management and recently 4R Nutrient Stewardship.
Sheldon Daniel
Sheldon grew up on a mixed farm south of Avonlea. He convocated from the College of
Agriculture and Bioresources in 2020 with a B.Sc in Agriculture majoring in Agronomy
and is now a Professional Agrologist, Certified Crop Advisor and is CAIB 1&2 Certified.
Sheldon joined Annex Agro in the spring of 2023, where he focusses on personalized
precision agronomy. His experience on his farm and in a retail crop inputs environment
combined with his interest in UAV’s and Geographic Information Systems pair well with
the mission of Annex Agro.
Sheldon lives in Yellow Grass with his wife Justine.
Liam Pflanzner
Liam was born and raised in Regina, where he grew up both living in the city and helping on the family farm. He attended St. Marguerite elementary, where he met his now girlfriend, Lindsay. Attending Miller Catholic High School, he developed an interest in computers, which would go on to be the focus of his post secondary studies.
Liam graduated from Saskatchewan Polytechnic in 2021 with a diploma in Business Information Systems. He currently lives in Regina with his cat, Alfredo, Girlfriend, Lindsay, and shows his passion for computers and the outdoors in his work.
